About the Author

An author and accredited storyteller in the Sharjah Heritage Department - Government of Sharjah.

Born in Ajman in 1935, died on April 4, 2013.

Co-founded Al Nasser Sports and Cultural Club, Ajman Cultural and Sports Club, the National Cultural Club, and established the first state-affiliated musical ensemble on September 1, 1974.

Serving as Director of the Ajman Folk Arts Association up until his death, he played a significant role in organizing and participating in cultural celebrations such as the Sharjah Heritage Days. He also devoted time to leading seminars and lectures across schools and universities to instill awareness about the importance of preserving Emirati heritage among younger generations.

He was instrumental in founding the Ajman Museum, actively supported the "Friends of the Elderly" group in Ajman, and organized recreational excursions for senior citizens.

Earned numerous certificates of appreciation for his vital contribution to reviving and celebrating local traditions.

His Publications: *Memories* and *Traditional Clothing* and hosted the programme *Our Beautiful Heritage* on Ajman TV.
